Disney Store Tails of Friendship Pin Trading Event 

 

Disney Store will be hosting 3 ‘Tails of Friendship’ pin trading events in our London, Dublin and Brisbane locations. Discover the animal sidekicks and furry friends of Disney and get the first chance to buy a limited edition collection of official Disney pins. Whether you’re a seasoned pin trader or just starting your collection, this is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts, share your stories, and trade for that perfect piece to complete your set. 

 

Event Details

  • This is a ticketed in-Store event taking place at Disney Store London, Dublin and Brisbane and is the perfect opportunity to trade pins with Cast Members and fellow pin traders. 
  • As part of the event, you will have the first chance to purchase 8 limited edition pins and a location exclusive pin for each event themed around the animals of Disney (limited purchase of two per design per Guest and while stocks last). 
  • Tickets are required and will be released via a link shared on our official Instagram Stories from 10am (BST) Wednesday 3rd June. Tickets guarantee entry to the event. 
  • Filming may be in progress at this event, please see signage at the event for full terms. 

 

Event Entry

  • A valid ticket must be presented upon arrival in order to gain entry to the Event which will be exchanged for a wristband unique to your timeslot. 
  • Tickets are valid only for the allocated time slot booked at the time of booking. 
  • Entry will only be permitted at your allocated time slot. 
  • If you arrive late, access to the Event is not guaranteed. However, subject to availability, you may be offered entry during the final time slot of the day. 
  • The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who does not comply with these rules or behaves in a disruptive manner. 
  • Tickets are non-transferable unless expressly agreed by the organisers. 
  • The organisers accept no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during the Event. 
  • The Event details (including date, venue, and schedule) are subject to change, and the organisers will make reasonable efforts to inform attendees of any changes. 
  • By obtaining a ticket and attending the event, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

How do I get a ticket for the event?

  • Tickets will be released via a link shared on our official Instagram Stories from 10am (BST) Wednesday 3rd June
  • Tickets are free and will guarantee you entry. 
  • If you have any accessibility concerns, please contact us via our official social media channels (FB/IG: DisneyStoreAU) to discuss reasonable accommodations ahead of your visit.  

 

What pins are available to buy?

You will have the first chance to buy 8 limited edition designs from the Tails of Friendship collection during the event. Each event will also have a location exclusive pin only available at that location. These will be in limited quantities while stocks last, and we cannot guarantee quantities for each time slot. 

Each pin is a limited-edition collectible, featuring a mix of standard designs and jumbo pins. 

These will be limited to a purchase of two pins per design per Guest and will not be available to purchase before the event starts. 

 

How does pin trading work?

To trade pins with a fellow Guest or Cast Member, be sure to trade authentic and official Disney pins. You can trade a maximum of two pins at a time per Cast Member, Guest or pin board. For more information on pin trading etiquette guidelines, please read the below:

  • Only official Disney pins may be traded. The main criteria when judging whether a pin is tradable or not (although other factors may be considered) is that the metal pin bears a "©Disney" mark on the back—representing an official Disney event, place, location, character or icon. A Cast Member may determine not to trade a pin at their discretion.
  • For a safe trading experience, please trade one pin at a time.
  • Guests may trade a maximum of 2 pins per Cast Member, Guest or trading board.
  • There cannot be two of the same pin on a board, so if the pin you planned to trade is already on the board, please select another pin to trade.
  • Please refrain from touching the pin or lanyard of a Cast Member or Guest. If you need a closer look, kindly ask the Cast Member or Guest wearing the pin or lanyard to bring it into clearer view for you.
  • Pins should be in good, undamaged, tradable condition with the pin backing attached.
  • Monies, gifts, vouchers or receipts may not be exchanged or used to trade for a pin and this will be monitored at the events.

Okay to Trade:

  • When trading with a Cast Member or Guest, Guests should offer a pin that is not currently displayed on the Cast Member's lanyard or trading board.
  • Pins from other business units of The Walt Disney Company (e.g., ABC, ESPN, National Geographic) may be traded, as determined by the Cast Member.
  • Pins that show a Disney, Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort affiliation are generally accepted for trading.

Not Okay to Trade:

  • Unauthorized pins, plastic pins, rubber pins or other non-metal pins.
  • Personalized name pins
  • Brooch-style or clasp pins
  • Disney Service Award pins, Disney Legacy Award pins, Partners in Excellence pins or Cast Member costume pins.
